Stamp Duty
Stamp duty is payable on the Contract and the amount is determined by the purchase price of the property. Stamp duty must be paid within three months from the date of singing the Contract or before Settlement, whichever date comes first.
Off the Plan
If purchasing an ‘off the plan’ property or a ‘house and land’ package then duty is payable within 12 months from the date of signing the Contract or before Settlement, whichever date comes first.
